China Airlines operates long-haul flights on Airbus A350 which is a wide-body aircraft. Premium Lounge Access 

China Airlines majorly operates from the main hub at Taoyuan International Airport. The airport is constructed in an ultra-modern design with a spacious layout to hold thousands of people at one time. China Airlines offers complimentary lounge access to Business Class passengers and SkyTeam Elite Plus members. The China Airlines lounge is located on terminal 2 on the third floor, near Gate D4. The lounge operates from 5:30 to 11 pm everyday.  

Upon entering the lounge, China Airlines Business class passengers will be greeted by the elegant calligraphy interior decor. With delicate design of red plum blossom and ink-wash artwork along with mirror aesthetic truly reflects the ultra-modern yet traditional side of the airlines. 

The lounge is brightly lit by the soothing light with seating arrangement for almost 258 guests spread across two floors. The dining sections consist of hot and cold buffet stations with scrumptious items like sweet potatoes, a few types of soups, chicken amuse bouche, and of course dumplings. The standout feature is the independent made-to-order noodle station that offers authentic Taiwanese noodles.  

In addition to these, the lounge is equipped with other amenities like public computers for Air China Business class passengers to use. The lounge also has shower rooms and separate areas for kids and families. The lounge is also facilitated with complimentary Wi-Fi available along with charging ports at every seating area. 

Baggage Allowance 

Excessive baggage is never an issue for Business class passengers. Passengers are allowed to carry two 32 kg checked bags and one cabin baggage of 12 kg/26 lb and one personal item bag.

Seat Configuration and Facilities 

China Airlines business class seats are designed from Collins Aerospace Super Diamond which has an ultra-luxurious feel.  The seats are placed in 1-2-1 reverse herringbone configuration, perfect for sleeping and lounging. 

The cabin is designed aesthetically with gold and faux wood accent and grey seats. Every China Airlines A350 Business Class seat is ornate with decorative bases, a fancy table lamp that adds an elegant touch to the cabin. There are no overhead bins in the business class cabin much like first class cabins in few airlines which adds more space to the entire flight experience. The seats are facilitated with extra storage space near the armrest that holds the IFE remote controller as well. Another storage is right under the armrest along with a space for shoes underneath the footwell. Every seat has a 17 inch-by-18 inch bifold tray that slides out from under the TV screen. 

Additionally, the armrest also has a seat controller to control the position. All China Air Business class seats are equipped with multi-standard sockets, two USB charging sockets and a headphone socket. 

Inflight Meal and Beverage Service

Upon boarding, the passengers are greeted by the crew with a welcome drink which is fresh juice or water along with a mix nut and rice crackers. While on the ground, the purser will present each passenger with a menu enlisting the inflight dishes. Once airborne, the flight attendants will proceed to take meal orders while offering another round of drinks which includes champagne or choice of wine. The meal service consists of three courses including appetiser, main course and desserts. The dishes depend on the route of the flight as well as the time. On an afternoon flight, China Air Business passengers may receive prawn and smoked salmon, marinated vegetable salad, along with bread of choice. Entreemay include a soup course as wells where passengers can enjoy ginseng chicken soup. 

The main dish usually has three choices ranging from poultry, meat, seafood and vegetarian. After the completion of the main course, the crew proceed to offer a Swiss cheese platter with grapes and apple slices along with desserts which may include succulent cheesecake with chocolate drizzle or Haagen Daz chocolate ice cream. 

Depending on the timing of the flight a second meal will be served almost two hours before landing. The breakfast course usually consists of a typical chinese dish Congee and side dishes and salted egg. As for beverages, China Airlines Business class passengers can enjoy Champagne Victoire Brut along with two red wines, two white wines, a selection of non-alcoholic drinks and hot beverages such as coffee, tea.  

Inflight Entertainment 

To each seat, there is a 18 inches high definition touch screen which is easy to navigate and comes along with a controller that can be used as a second screen when the seat is reclined. The IFE system contains almost 169 movies and 36 Tv shows including full seasons of some famous western TV shows like “The Handmaid’s Tale”, “The Marvellous Mrs Maisel” and more. The airline also offers passengers noise-cancelling earphones for a more personal entertainment experience. 

To keep the devices charged, each China Air business class seat is equipped with one well-positioned universal AC adapter and two USB ports. All China Airlines A330 and Boeing 777-300ER are well equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi which can be used for three hours by Business class passengers. However, passengers will have to sign up for a voucher code before boarding. 

Luxurious Amenities and Services

Every China Airlines business class passenger is offered a soothing amenity kit from North Face. The uniquely designed amenity kit holds the standard business class items such as eye mask, dental kit, face mask with a unique hair treatment serum made up of Moroccan oil. Passengers also receive duvets and fluffy golden pillows for a relaxing flight journey. Other than that, China Airlines business class passengers also have designated lavatories with perfumes and handwash.
