Passengers are also eligible to earn miles and rewards on each flight.

Light

Passengers travelling in Light fare are entitled to carry one hand baggage with a maximum weight of 8 kg only. Frequent Flyers can get Miles and More on all the flights.

Premium Economy

Swiss Airlines also offers Premium Economy class to customers on all long haul flights to cater extra comfort and luxury.  Compared to Economy, Premium Economy offers more luxury and facilities on board and onground. First Class

Checked-in Baggage Policy

  • On European routes, passengers travelling on Light fare are not allowed to carry checked-in baggage, however, passengers can purchase additional baggage as per Swiss Airlines baggage policy.
  • Classic and Flex fares include one personal item and one baggage weighing 23 kg with dimension of total 158cm as checked-in baggage.  
  • Business class passengers can carry 2 checked-in baggage weighing 32 kg each with a total dimension of 292cm on board.

Swiss Baggage Fee

You can book your flight from the official website of SWISS to receive an extra 2 baggage allowance each weighing 23 kg with you. The Light Fare in SWISS Economy includes only one carry-on bag on board as per Swiss Air Lines baggage policy but passengers can purchase extra baggage allowance through the website or at the SWISS check-in counter at the airport.

Swiss Airlines Check in Policy

As per Swiss Air Lines cancellation policy, the amount charged by SWISS Air Lines as cancellation fee is subject to various circumstances, including the type of ticket purchased and the departing and arriving airports.

  • Flex ticket holders can cancel or make changes in their reservation without incurring any additional fee as mentioned in Swiss Airlines cancellation policy.
  • If Standard ticket holders cancel or make changes in their reservation, they have to pay between € 100 to € 250 as cancellation or change fee, depending on the route and cancellation fee.
  • Economy ticket passengers are charged between € 150 to € 350 as cancellation or change fee.
