Baggage Allowance 

Those who are flying in Copa Airlines business class can carry two checked bags weighing up to 70 pounds board with one piece of carry-on luggage weighing up to 22 pounds. Along with checked and carry-on luggage, passengers can carry one personal baggage including handbag, briefcase, or purse with no extra cost. 

Frequent Flyer of Copa Airlines and Star Alliance travellers in Copa Airlines Business class get an added bonus on baggage allowance. If you have a Star Alliance Gold and ConnectMiles Presidential, or have Platinum and Gold status, then you are allowed to carry additional bags. These above-mentioned passengers will also have priority check-in facilities at the airport. 

Seat Configuration

Copa Airlines operates on two types of planes- the Boeing 737 MAX 9 and the Boeing 737-800. Each of these planes only have 16 seats configuration for business class. However, the business class in 737 MAX 9 is better than the other one in terms of seat quality. The official name of Copa Business class is 

Copa Dreams Business Class. The dream business class offers fully-flat beds with extra space including a seat pitch of 49 inches and a recline of 11 inches. Along with generous seat space, you can have extra legroom. The leather chairs also have adjustable headrests. The business class of Copa Airlines is not storage friendly and you only have a seat back storage pocket for minimal things. However, the new upgrade in Dream Business class is the installation of Power and USB outlets. 

Inflight Meals and Beverages 

Right after take off, passengers will be attended by the crew with beverages and passengers can choose the beverage of their choice along with ramekin of mixed nuts and printed menu to order during the meal service in Copa Dreams Business class. 

The meal service in business class begins with appetiser, salad and bread. The main dish is usually a choice between two dishes. Typically the menu contains beef or chicken and socially seafood. Desserts in hand delivered after completion of meal service. The desserts change regularly so you can expect a sweet cake or made-to-order ice cream sundae. Also, if the flight is relatively long, then the airline also offers a second meal service before landing. Copa Airlines does not offer a dine-on demand facility so it’s better to ask the crew to know when the meal service will commence so that you can plan your rest accordingly in Copa Air Business class. 

As for beverages, the crew will offer passengers a printed menu of available beverages onboard. The beverage menu usually includes one sparkling red and white wine served in small glasses. Chandon Delice is the usual sparkling wine that is often served along with international beers and a list of spirits and alcohol  including Hennessy Cognac or Tanqueray Special Dry gin. Juice, cocktails and hot beverages are usually complimentary as well. 

Inlight Entertainment  

Passengers flying on Boeing 737 MAX 9 business class have the privilege to access the inflight entertainment on a 16cm  touch screen monitor along with noise-cancelling headphones. The entire entertainment system is updated to be fully responsive and easy to use. The Copa Airlines Dream business class inflight entertainment includes movies, TV shows, music, games and even a moving map which tracks the progression of the flight.  

Also in some of the Boeing 737-800, you have fold-out entertainment screens with one-touch screens tucked in the armrest. You can also use the Copa wifi network available onboard called Copa Showpass by which you can stream videos and music 

Amenity Kit 

Copa offers basic amenity kits to Copa Business Class and Business Class passengers which usually includes simple toiletries, socks and eye shades. However, Copa Dream business class does offer other products including plush pillow and blanket with dream trademark.

You can book Copa Airlines Business class either from the official website or the third-party websites with paid fare or you can choose to book your flight with miles points. You can book directly from the airlines by using the Copa ConnectMiles points. Another way to buy Copa Business class is to redeem miles of other Star Alliance partners, only if you are a member of any Star Alliance loyalty program.
