Cabin Classes in Eva Air

Royal Laurel Class 

This is the highest level of luxurious class in Eva Airways which is only available on Boeing 787 and 777/300ER fleets. EvaAir has redesigned Royal Laurel Class seats with adjustable privacy panels and generous built-in storage cabinets. Premium Laurel/ Business Class 

The Airlines offers business class in the selective fleet in Airbus A330-300, A200. This is the second best cabin class which offers multiple luxurious amenities. Eva Air business class seats are equipped with 110-volt power outlets, individual adjustable LED reading lamps and retractable dividers that maximise privacy. The seat features 61-62 inches of pitch which offers more comfort to passengers. The seats are also fully equipped with adjustable headrest and footrests. Premium Economy 

EvaAir launched the premium economy cabin class first in 1991. With few features of Business class, the airline aims to offer a more economical fare to passengers who want to travel with a more seamless flight experience. This cabin class is designed to satisfy the standards of leisure and business class flyers. The premium economy features plush and spacious seats with 38-inches long and 19.5 inch wide with ample legroom. The seat also has a mood lighting system along with an 11-inch LCD touch screen that showcases live tv shows, music, games and live flight map. The airline extends its special services to premium economy class by offering overnight amenity kit for nourishing Eva Air flights experience. 

Economy Class

This is the most economical cabin class in Eva Air that offers more value for the price of economy along with more comfort. The airline upgraded its economy class with installation of seat back inflight entertainment that offers on demand entertainment with a wide range of videos and shows.

Baggage Allowance Eva Air 

The airline has a standard baggage allowance policy which allows passengers who want to travel with multiple bags. However, there are certain guidelines that one needs to follow to avoid unnecessary baggage charges. 

• As mentioned in Eva Air flight booking, for baggage weighing more than 32 kg, they need to be repacked to ensure the safety of the handler before they are accepted as checked baggage. 
• Passengers travelling with more than 10 checked bags should inform the airline at least 48 hours prior to scheduled departure.  
• As per Eva Air flight baggage allowance policy, baggage with more linear dimensions over 292 cm (115 inches) or weight over 45 kg (100ibs) will be considered as cargo. Special baggage like pets, mobility aids, sport equipment and other baggage are subject to other regulations.

Carry-on Baggage 

• Royal Laurel/Premium Laurel/ Business Class passengers are allowed to carry two pieces of carry-on baggage and each piece should not exceed 7 kg/15lbs. While passengers travelling in Premium Economy, Economy Class are allowed to carry one piece of carry-on baggage only weighing 7 kg. 
• The maximum dimension of each piece of carry-on baggage is 23 x 36 x 56cm (9 x 14 x 22 inches) or 115 cm.
• According to Eva Air booking policy,  If hand-carry baggage is overweight or oversized then it will be considered as a checked-in luggage, in the cargo hold or refused carriage. 

Personal Baggage 

Apart from free carry-on luggage, all passengers are allowed to carry a personal item with a dimension of 40 x 30 x 10 cm (16 x 12 x 4 inches) or total linear dimensions of 80 cm/32 inches including wheels, handles and side pockets. As per Eva Airlines baggage policy, personal items include a laptop bag, handbag, a purse, a brief case, a camera case, or rain gear as per Eva Air Baggage allowance. 

Checked Baggage 

As per the checked baggage allowance in EvaAir, the baggage depends on the routes and destinations purchased by the traveller. Also, if your checked baggage exceeds the free baggage allowance by number of pieces, weight or size then applicable excess baggage charges will be charged. Primarily, the baggage allowance depends on the long and short haul flight distance.

Check-in Facilities 

Eva Air check-in policy is quite flexible and offers multiple ways to check-in.

Passengers can check-in online for their Eva Air flight 48 hours before the scheduled flight departure. However, there are certain regulations before check-in that passengers need to follow. 

• As per Eva Check-in policy, the check-in starts 48 hours before the scheduled flight and closes 1 hour before the flight is airborne. 
• Passengers are advised by the airline to obtain the boarding pass at least 30 minutes before the flight. 
• Passengers with special needs have to check-in directly at the airport at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure. 
• Passengers travelling on international flights should check-in at least 2 hours before departure. 
• On certain international Eva flight bookings, online web check-in may not be available. 
• Passengers travelling with international charter flights cannot check-in online.   

Online Check-in 

• As per Eva Air check-in policy, the check-in starts 48 hours before the scheduled flight and closes 1 hour before the flight is airborne. 
• You can check-in through the official website or simply use the Eva Airlines mobile application. 
• All you need to do is download the application from IOS Play Store or from Apple Store. Online check-in enables customers to choose their desired seat as per their requirement. 

Airport Check-in 

If you prefer to check-in at the airport then you can check-in for your flight at the EvaAir airport counter. 

• As per airlines, you should reach the airport 3 hours prior to departure for international flights and at least 2 hours prior for domestic flights as per Eva Air check in policy. 
• Travellers can seek assistance from the staff present at the check-in counter at the airport related to anything from check-in, baggage, seat selection and more. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy 

Eva Air offers a flexible and convenient cancellation and refund policy to ensure that customers experience hassle-free flight journeys. 

• As per Eva Air cancellation policy, customers can cancel their reservation within 24 hours of making the reservation without any cancellation fee. 
• Passengers can revoke their reservation at least 1 hour before scheduled departure. However, the cancellation fee will be applicable after cancellation. 
• Travellers can seek refunds against refundable tickets. 
• A passenger cannot claim an Eva Air booking refund cancellation refund after the flight departure. 
• As per Eva Air refund policy, the refunds will be processed in the same method of payment and in the same currency used to pay for the ticket. 
• Eva Air cancellation charges would be waived for once for every passenger on the same booking.
• The airline advises passengers to check the Eva Air Flight status to know the precise status incase of any extreme weather condition. 
• In case of flight delay or cancellation, passengers are entitled to claim a refund against their booking.
