Business class passengers can also use the shower service and steward facilities by requesting the staff.

Seat Configuration and Facilities 

The airline operates business class Kenya Airways exclusively on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner planes. The business class cabin is divided into 2-2-2 configuration with three rows and a smaller “mini cabin” behind the gallery with only two rows. Due to its restrictive configurations, window seat passengers will have to climb over the aisle passengers to have aisle access. 

All the seats in Business class are flat beds that come with soft pillows and blankets. The seats are well-equipped with easily accessible seat controls to change the seat position from upright to recliner to fully-flat. Business class seats have a lot of storage space on the side to hold laptops, tablets and magazines all at once. Kenya Airways business class seats also have storage space beneath the ottoman which can easily store your shoes, personal baggage, and even extra items like cameras. Business class passengers can also use the storage under the movable armrest that also has power outlets and smart IFE controller. The  window also features dimmer switches rather than traditional shades, however, passengers cannot use them as they are controlled by the crew only. 

Inflight Meal and Beverage Service 

Customers travelling in Business class can enjoy the finest menus prepared by world class chefs. Kenya Airways business class menu is not limited to delicious food but it also displays a finesse in presentation as well. 

Right after departure, Kenya Airways Business class passengers are offered a menu of the inflight food in a leather folder which is only offered to First Class passengers in other airlines. The cabin crews offer each dish on a linen-lined tray rather than via trays itself. The meal service begins with appetisers and packed nuts or a soup course with a choice from the bread basket. Shortly after appetisers, the crew will offer a choice between four main course dishes including beef, seafood, poultry or pasta. Lastly, the meal service ends with a three-tiered cart with desserts and after-drinks including cakes, pastries, cheese platter, coffee, tea or fresh fruit juice. Depending on the flight, Kenya Airways Business Class will receive a second meal on board, however, passengers can request for small snacks such as pizza and sandwiches in between flights. 

Before take off, the passengers are offered a glass of juice or champagne as a pre-departure beverage. Kenya Airways often serves J.M Gobillard et Fils NV Grande Reserve Premier Cru Brut inflight. 

Right after take off, more beverages will be available including two white wines, two red wines, champagne, international beers and spirits along with soft-drinks, non-alcoholic drinks and famous Kenyan coffee – including proper espresso and cappuccino.

Inflight Entertainment 

Equipped with a 17 inches HD screen personal screen controlled by both touch and remote control, Kenya Airways Business class seats have IFE system with a variety of entertainment options including 100 movies and 48 hours of TV shows. The inflight entertainment list also features documentaries of local wildlife. Passengers can also track the route of the flight on the 3D moving map available on international flights. Passengers can control the IFE system with a remote controller located under the storage of the armrest. 

Also, every Kenya Airways Business class seat is equipped with USB ports, laptop power along with adjustable reading light. Passengers can enjoy the IFE system with high-quality noise-cancelling headphones.

Luxurious Amenities and Facilities

Kenya Airways is not extravagant on amenity kits yet some of the things are worth keeping. Kenya Airways business class amenity kit consists of socks with paw print at the bottom, pen, dental kit, ear plugs and comb. Upon request, passengers can receive large pillows and blankets of great quality for a more comfortable flight.
